"Let's just say that if complete and utter chaos was lightning, he'd be the sort to stand on a hilltop in a thunderstorm wearing wet copper armour and shouting 'All gods are bastards'." -- Rincewind about Twoflower, The Colour of Magic by Terry Pratchett

Getting back on the story track.

I've been terrible and neglected all my stories and fanfics for over a year. Now that the APs are done, I can start getting some work done on my fanfictions.

My main priorities:
  • Celestial Requiem - that's been in high demand to be updated and I can't say I blame anyone for being impatient with me. I have edited the first five chapters for any inconsistencies so far and I'm revising my plan for Chapter Six. Hopefully, I'll get started on that soon.
  • Elemental Prophecies - I've barely given a thought to the Elemental series in awhile. Need to get back on track for that. I may decide to change what my intended plotline was to make it less complicated - too many things are happening at one time in the story line to keep up.
  • Tears of Twilight - actually, the next chapter's nearly completed.
  • getting back in touch with readers and reviewers, update my Yahoo!Group.
I'm putting Dark Reflections, Elemental Sight and Elemental Malice on the backburner for now.

I've also got to get rid of any errant new plotlines that are running though my head and stay on course with what I've got.

The Post-AP Lull.

In my classes, besides Gym, we're in the post-AP lull. It's the period between AP tests and when we have to start busting our chops getting finals done. The teachers need to show they're doing something, therefore after the obligatory resting period, projects. Oh, the joy.

As far as I know, it's come to this:
English - research project, powerpoint presentation
European History - not sure, but I think it's a group project. I know that we're going to be examining the movie Luther
Government - project (individual or group) and presentation on a subject on your choice involving policy
Statistics - project of some kind that involves taking a survey that actually has some significant value. But the teacher hasn't gone over it much (which is nothing new on his part).
Spanish - we're going to be watching a movie, making a commercial, and probably a few more speaking presentations.

As for us students, we just want to kick back and relax. That's very unlikely. But at least we get to watch some movies for once and there's not as much pressure on our shoulders.

Joy to the world! It's done!

You heard correctly!

AP tests are done! I finished my last test on Tuesday, and it's been a hell of a week.

My AP Tests for 2006:
- May 2nd - Spanish Language, Statistics
- May 4th - English Literature and Composition
- May 5th - European History
- May 9th - United States Government and Politics

How did I fare? Meh...I think I could've done better.

Especially considering that with the weather here, my nose has decided to rebel against the rest of my body. I went through the whole winter without a single cold. Once April-May hits, BAM! Let's get her while she's testing.

I know I did badly on Stats (right after the Spanish exam), but I don't feel alone thankfully. And math has never been a particular strong point of mine. Personally, I would like to never hear nor see the words "confidence interval" or "probability" or "z-score" or anything involving a statistical test in my life. It may be hard to believe but give me algebra!

Spanish - okay, but I messed up on the speaking section. Damn cold.

English - alright, but could have done better on the essays.

European History - alright, but I don't know why they gave a DBQ (Document Based Question) on organized sports in Europe from 1860-1940. How the hell am I supposed to have any outside information on that right off the bat?

Government - ugh...okay. Though I think that they were spying on me, knowing exactly what I wouldn't focus on. And with all that worrying about remembering court cases, there was barely any mention of them besides the usual Marbury v Madison and McCulloch v Maryland.

But IT'S OVER! Thank God. I've never felt so relieved.
